i think this is such a AWESOME idea!!! i even shared it over on my blog and my personal facebook!! i'll be buying some fun socks next time i'm out shopping!
I love how much you want other kids to feel special and loved! Every time a kid puts on the socks you collected, she will know someone picked them out just for her! I am going to send the socks to you so that you can give them away. I hope you collect a lot!
Fantastic idea Princess! You are so right when I was a kid growing up in foster care we got lots of dull stuff I loved anything special or unique…AND I STILL love funky socks (and pajamas)! And what a bright girl that you have already figured out that nothing in the world feels better than being there for someone else. : ) keep on growing up YOU!
I love this idea! A fun and exciting way to use something you're passionate about to help others, way to go girl :) I'll definitely be passing this on to others hoping they'll help out also.
You have a wonderful and thoughtful idea! My daughter (also 11 now!) never wore socks or underwear in her orphanage or while in foster care. She changed her new socks and underwear twice a day when she first came home. I can see how important this is and I will make a paypal donation for you to pick out some special socks for other foster children. We <3 ~Socks for Smiles~ = )
This sounds like a Fantastic Idea! Keep up the good work.
